E J Bowman was Established in 1919. They now manufacture heat exchangers and oil coolers for a wide variety of applications such as marine heat exchangers, exhaust gas heat heat exchangers to titanium swimming pool heat exchangers. Initially they were mostly for the automotive industry although now heat exchangers are manufactured for many different applications.
During recent years the world-wide demand for heat exchangers has risen considerably, and at Bowman’s we have grown as well, to meet this demand.
The company is assessed to the Internationally recognised BS EN ISO 9001 Quality Management System, thus ensuring our commitment to Quality. Our policy of contin...

Bowman marine heat exchangers are used for direct cooling, heat exchanger cooling and Keel cooling.
Bowman Exhaust Gas Heat Exchangers are designed to remove heat from the exhaust gas of engines and transfer it to the water circuit.
These heat exchangers were designed originally for marine engines, but they are also widely used for various land based duties, such as engine testing and development work, generator sets, fire pumps and combined heat and power systems.
Bowman stainless steel calorifiers provide a simple method of heating water indirectly from a low pressure primary supply.
Bowman Shell and Tube Heat Exchangers: are intended for heating or cooling process fluids, they are for example suitable for closed circuit cooling of electrical equipment using demineralised water and for cooling water soluble oil solutions in quenching tanks.
Stainless steel heat exchangers are particularly useful in bad water environments caused by pollution or from the chemicals used to counter it.
Bowman In Line Plate Heat Exchangers have been designed as a lowcost alternative to our shell and tube types.
Bowman is one of the UK’s largest manufacturers of swimming pool heat exchangers.
Heat exchangers are used in conjunction with solar panels to heat swimming pools.
